  • Avocado Festival is committed to featuring a diverse selection of handcrafted goods, locally sourced products & a wide range of food vendors. *Applications from multi-level marketing (MLM) or information-based businesses are not currently being accepted.

    Businesses interested in supporting the festival are encouraged to become sponsors that will offer distinct promotional and community engagement opportunities. Please contact the office of the Greater Pharr Chamber of Commerce at (956)402-4240 or email greaterpharrchamber@pharr-tx.gov
    for sponsorship opportunities.

    Vendor Fees & Required Documentation

    Food Vendor
    $275 Registration Fee*
    Must upload business logo and food handlers license.
    Market Vendor
    $225 Registration Fee*
    Must upload business logo and pictures of all items.

    *Subject to addt'l $3.50 convenience fee added to total.
    All vendors will need to be approved by GPCC. Application does not secure spot.

        Please read the following carefully.

        The City of Pharr will be designing and printing menus and signs for the vendors for this event. It is important for us to have an accurate list of the items each vendor will be selling. Item repetition per vendor will be limited to provide the best experience for event attendees.

        Each market vendor must have a minumim of 3 items and is allowed to sell a maximum of 7 items.

        A maximum of 3 vendors can sell the same type of item.

        This information along with a full list of prohibited items are also included in the Rules of Engagement. You will receive a copy of the Rules of Engagement upon completion of this form.

        Your application will be reviewed by the Greate Pharr Chamber of Commerce and they will reach out to you with a final decision. Inputting items in this box does not guarantee approval.

        Example:
        April will be selling jewelry, scented candles, tumblers, and stationery. Then she will increase the number of of items counter to 4 and fill out each item name.

        Each vendor must have a minumim of 3 items with 5 subitems and is allowed to sell a maximum of 5 items.The limits for items are listed below.

        A maximum of 3 vendors can sell the same type of item.

        Example:
        Only up to 3 different vendors can sell papa asada. Once three different vendors have registered to sell papa asada as their item, no more vendors will be allowed to sell papa asada.

        Example:
        April will be selling Papa Asada, Aguas Frescas, Ice Cream, and Tacos. She will increase the number of of items counter to 4 and fill out each item name, size of serving in either volume or in count, and price along with it. Filling out the 5 toppings or flavors, for papa asada the toppings could be cheese, cream, bacon, etc. For Aguas Frescas maybe you have Limon and Jamaica.

      • * Food vendors are not allowed to sell water, sodas, sport drinks, or alcohol. Any other drinks are allowed, such as slushies, agues frescas, lemonades, etc.
